FAVORITE CHRISTIAN SONGS 2019

Songs are written to empower, inspire, relate, and most importantly, to embody a message or story that needs to be told. You don’t need to listen to Christian music to know this.

Don’t you ever just hear a song and remember a moment in time?

Or perhaps remember how that song made you felt?

Well, all of those moments are what makes every song uniquely capable of transforming your thoughts and make you feel some type of way.

As I got closer to God…I’d hear his messages in the wind and I’d hear him conversing with me through unintelligible sounds and actions. But Christian music especially touches my soul. I’d tear up from listening to the songs time to time.

When I was saved by grace, Christian music became a representation of a new life I’ve entered and the other life that I’ve left. If you read my article on how I was saved, you’d know that it moves me every time to share because I’ve been through dark times and I know how it feels to feel like no one is there to support you. I understand the voicelessness one may feel…the caged feeling that one is perhaps repressed by.

We are our biggest enemies but we are also our greatest heroes. Everyone’s story is more or less a self-suffocation survival, whether we know it or not. We learn the hard way that we are the masters of our lives but we also learn that many things are out of our control…the truth is far from clear.

Once I gave my life to God, I saw Him in everything. I see God work through me. He gave me control and He told me what’s not in my control. He gave me autonomy and He gave me mercy. But most importantly, He gave me some truth. Even if you’re not religious, believing in something greater than you and the universe may be the key to keeping you grounded and happy.

God gave these singers/songwriters a powerful story that moved hearts beyond compare.
