Smoothies are a quick and easy way to get your daily nutrients without the struggle of cooking. Just toss all your fruits and veggies into a blender and you’re good to go! That’s why I’ve been loving smoothies.

However, most people learn to drink smoothies that are high in sugar levels which actually does more harm than good. Whether it’s a smoothie that is only fruit based or pumped with corn syrup. Having it once in a while is not a bad thing, don’t get me wrong, but mistaking a sugary smoothie as a healthy drink can be dangerous if taken often.

This smoothie is one of my favorites. I made it on my own to substitute a meal. It has protein, veggies, fruit, and fiber!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • a banana (half or whole, depending on your preference)
  • handful of spinach or more
  • flax seeds
  • vegan protein powder – KOS
  • your preference of milk (8-10oz)


  • put everything into a blender
  • blend until smooth
  • DONE!
